About Priscila

I am currently a second-year student at the University of California, Berkeley, and I am majoring in Applied Mathematics with a focus on finance/economics. I have been tutoring for over 5 years now, and I have taught at least 20 students in mathematics, ranging from Algebra to Multivariable Calculus.

About the lesson

I teach high school and college students, but I can also teach younger students. I typically like to start off with having the student work on easier practice problems, then gradually increase the difficulty of problems. I also provide concrete examples to ensure the students are able to grasp concepts of the material. I'm very patient with students, and if they are unable to understand a concept/theory/practice problem, I try my best to approach these problems in different ways.

Recommendations

Priscila has helped me in my high school Calculus AB class. I was unclear in many topics as the class was quite rigorous. Priscila really helped me understand the concepts very well and detailed. She really ensures the student grasps what they're trying to learn. She loves, loves, loves to help people out. I would most definitely recommend Priscila to anyone who wants to excel in math.
