About Kieran

Hi! I’m Kieran — a Western University student and varsity swimmer who’s always had a passion for helping others understand math. I’ve tutored students from elementary through high school and love watching that moment when everything finally clicks. I focus on making math simple, approachable, and even fun — building confidence one step at a time. Outside of tutoring, I’m big on personal growth, goal-setting, and helping students develop a mindset that sets them up for success in and out of school.

About the lesson

My lessons are all about making math click. I start by meeting each student where they’re at — whether that’s catching up on fundamentals or tackling tougher high-school topics. Every session is personalized, engaging, and focused on building understanding and confidence, not just memorizing steps.

I use real examples, simple explanations, and a growth-mindset approach that helps students actually enjoy learning math again. Mistakes are part of the process — we work through them together until the “aha!” moment happens.

Lessons are held online through Google Meet with an interactive whiteboard for clear, hands-on learning. I also provide short recaps and mini goals after each session so progress feels consistent and rewarding.
