About Arleya
I love helping people learn and overcome frustration with challenging topics. With experience as a former math teacher and as an adult technical training designer, I know how to help students learn with clarity and confidence.
I started tutoring math while studying electrical engineering at Howard University and continued throughout my professional engineering career. I keep tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping people overcome math barriers so they can access STEM opportunities as well.
I'm down-to-earth, patient, encouraging, and strategic about my students' learning journey. I teach the language, patterns, and problem-solving strategies behind math in a way that is easy to absorb and retain for future use.
