About Reem

Hello! My name is Reem, and I am a Mathematics tutor with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Teaching Diploma.

I am passionate about helping students understand mathematics in a clear, practical, and stress-free way. I teach math to middle-school, high-school, and university students, adapting each lesson to the student’s level, pace, and learning needs.

Through my teaching experience, I have developed skills in lesson planning, backward design, student assessment, and creating learning activities that support real understanding. I believe that mathematics is not only about memorizing formulas, but also about building logical thinking, confidence, and problem-solving skills.

I am a flexible, patient, approachable, and non-judgmental tutor. I understand that every student learns differently, and I create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions freely, make mistakes, and improve step by step.

Whether you need help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an exam, reviewing course material, or improving your overall confidence in math, I am here to support you and help you reach your goals.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is student-centered, flexible, and based on differentiated learning. I believe that what works for one student may not work for another, so I first take time to understand each student’s level, learning style, strengths, challenges, and academic goals. From there, I adapt my teaching methods to help the student learn in a way that feels clear, supportive, and effective.

For middle-school students, I use structured explanations, visual materials, examples, guided practice, and step-by-step problem solving. These methods help students connect new information to ideas they can see and understand clearly. For high-school and university students, I also encourage deeper analysis, critical thinking, independent problem solving, and discussion of more abstract concepts. In every lesson, I aim to make difficult material more understandable, organized, and relevant.

My lessons are typically 50–60 minutes long, but I can adjust the pace and lesson structure based on the student’s needs. A typical class may include a quick review of previous material, a clear explanation of the new topic, practice questions or activities, feedback, and a short summary of the key points. I also help students improve their study skills, confidence, organization, and ability to approach challenging questions independently.

I have experience tutoring middle-school, high-school, and university-level students. I work patiently with learners at different levels and adapt my communication style to their age, academic background, and learning needs. My lessons are suitable for students who need support with understanding course material, preparing for exams, completing assignments, improving academic performance, or building confidence in a subject.

My goal is not only to help students get the correct answer, but also to help them understand why the answer is correct and develop the skills to solve similar problems independently in the future.
