Hi there! My name is Hannah, and I am currently finalising my qualification as a counselling psychologist. I also have also worked for a few years in a primary school homework centre.
I prefer to adapt my lessons and style to the student/s with whom I work. I believe that each student is gifted in their own way, and understand that this uniqueness will shape the way they learn. I also appreciate that the current times are exceedingly frustrating for growing minds and I understand, based on my training and work experience so far, that a little patience, compassion and empathy goes a long way. Lessons can be offered in an individual format, or a group format, depending on availability.
I can offer you or your children tutoring and academic support in the following areas:
1. Primary school level (Grades 4-7): Study skills, general homework support
2. High school level: Study skills, general homework support, tutoring in non-technical topics, e.g. history, or life orientation.
3. Undergraduate level: Tutoring and support can be offered in psychology, social research
