About Nandini

Hey there! I'm Nandini Desai, your friendly math tutor. Math has always been my jam—I just love the way numbers and patterns come together to solve problems. But beyond math, I'm also a bit of a sports enthusiast and a lover of the great outdoors.

When I'm not knee-deep in equations and formulas, you'll often find me on the basketball court, shooting hoops and cheering on my favorite team. Sports and math might seem like an unlikely pair, but they actually have a lot in common when you think about it—they both involve strategy, precision, and a little bit of teamwork.

I'm also a big fan of spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking through the mountains, camping under the stars, or just enjoying a leisurely bike ride. There's something incredibly refreshing about being out in nature and taking in the beauty of the world around us.

About the lesson

My goal is to make this sometimes intimidating subject feel approachable, understandable, and even fun for my students. Math is like a puzzle, and I'm here to help you put all the pieces together.

I believe in a personalized approach to learning. Whether you're a visual learner who benefits from seeing concepts illustrated on paper, a hands-on learner who likes to work through problems step by step, or an auditory learner who prefers to hear explanations out loud, I'll tailor my teaching to suit your individual needs and learning style.

But no matter how we approach it, one thing remains constant: practice, practice, practice. Math is all about building confidence through repetition and reinforcement. That's why I'll provide plenty of opportunities for you to work through problems on your own, with guidance and support every step of the way.

I also believe in making math relevant to everyday life. Whether we're calculating tips at a restaurant, budgeting for a shopping trip, or analyzing sports statistics, there are countless ways to see the real-world applications of the math we learn in the classroom.

In addition to traditional teaching methods, I like to incorporate technology and multimedia resources into my lessons. Whether it's using interactive online tutorials, watching educational videos, or exploring math-based games and apps, there are endless ways to make learning math engaging and interactive.
