About Anna

I have an undergraduate degree from Cornell, I maintained a 3.8 GPA and was on the Dean’s List with Honors several semesters. I went on to get a masters degree and helped pay for my tuition by tutoring and editing papers. Education is truly a passion of mine and I want to help it become something enjoyable for others, too! I am a child and adolescent psychotherapist and often incorporate academic support into my services because I understand that education can either be a source of strength or a big challenge - my job is to make it as enjoyable as possible so that you are able to understand the concepts you need to reach your academic and professional goals. Education shouldn’t be a source of stress or negativity. I will help you find your unique learning style to incorporate it into tutoring sessions and apply it in other areas of your life so you can meet all of your goals.

About the lesson

I aim to instill a yearning for learning. Knowledge opens up doors and opportunities. My goal is to help you find a style of learning that fits your unique personality and keeps you engaged, instead of being something to avoid. I want to make studying fun and enjoyable, so you can look forward to it instead of dreading it! Everyone has their own strengths and mine is helping students identify their path to success. I am creative and eager to come up with strategies that will help you grow and meet your goals, both in and out of school. Learning should be dynamic.
