About Shayma

I am a dedicated and approachable tutor with a background in research and analysis, as well as experience supporting students in their studies. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps and helping learners feel more confident in their abilities. My academic and professional journey has given me strong communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, which I bring into every lesson. I have worked with students from a range of levels and backgrounds, adapting my teaching style to suit their needs. I am passionate about education and believe that with the right guidance, every student can unlock their potential. My aim is not only to help students achieve their academic goals but also to build lasting skills in organisation, independent learning and confidence.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured, clear and engaging, with a focus on building both understanding and confidence. I adapt my teaching methodology to suit each student’s learning style combining explanation, discussion and practical examples. I also encourage active participation and provide constructive feedback to make sure progress is consistent. A typical lesson lasts 1 hour, though I am flexible and can adapt depending on the student’s needs and goals. I have a strong academic and professional background, with experience in research, analysis and tutoring. My work has required excellent communication and presentation skills, which I now apply in my teaching. I have tutored students of different ages and levels, helping them improve their academic performance and approach subjects with more confidence. My lessons are suitable for secondary school, GCSE and A-level students. I tailor each session to the learner’s objectives, whether that’s exam preparation, coursework support, or developing critical thinking and analytical skills. I aim to create a supportive, motivating environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions, challenge themselves, and achieve their best.
