Master’s graduate. I see voice from spiritual, psycho-biological POV. I teach simply because I love to. I blend vocal analysis, pranic healing, and meditation in teaching.

About Anshika

I hold a Master’s Degree from the Australian Institute of Music in Melbourne, and I’ve been teaching music for over 11 years now. I aim to create a fun, safe space where creativity is encouraged and self-discovery is at the heart of the journey. I focus on understanding how you learn—what inspires you, and guiding you toward your goals in a way that feels authentic and empowering. I don’t teach creativity—I provide the tools and techniques so you can explore, experiment, make it your own and decide weather this art of of your choice. Together, we grow with shared intention, curiosity, and joy. We grow together, with shared intention and joy.

We begin by understanding how the voice works. It’s a highly sophisticated system—delicate enough to be affected by the most subtle, smallest changes, yet resilient when cared for properly. Moving on, doing other customised physical and neurological exercises under my guidance, helping your voice flow effortlessly and smoothly (or tuff and grungy if that's your goal!)

Find out more about Anshika

  • When did you first develop a passion for music and your favourite instrument?

My mum sneaked on me in 2005 while I was singing in my room. She believed that I had a talent and that was the first time I felt confident in myself and my passion for music.
  • Is there a particular type of music or artist that you listen to on a loop without it driving you crazy?

I find myself inclined towards songwriting rather than a specific genre. In my lifetime, my preferred music genre has evolved from listening to metal and rock to country and pop music to Indie, RnB, soul, and jazz.
  • Explain to us the most difficult or 'riveting' lesson you could personally give to one of your students.

I love what I do. I love nerding out on the philosophy of singing and emotional delivery. I LOVE every lesson because I get to work on different types of musical concepts with all my students, who have different goals in mind when they join my lessons.
  • What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master and why?

For me, it's drums. For the love of me, I can't play the drums. Every body part syncopated, yet somehow in synchronised rhythm. Moreover, a drummer is the timekeeper of the band.
  • What are your keys to success?

For me, success means pure joy from doing something you love and making it your main source of income. In a very real and capitalistic world, it is an absolute blessing and I am immensely grateful to my students for it.
  • Name three musicians you dream of meeting in your favourite bar in the early hours of the morning.

    - India Arie: Her songwriting got me through a very difficult phase of my life. Her music brought me comfort and taught me compassion.
    - Bryan Adams: I grew up listening to him and his voice has such authenticity. His songs taught me to love.
    - Adele: She taught me to be authentic on and off stage. She lives on her own terms and loves so much… I'd faint if I ever met her. Meeting these amazing artists is definitely my dream.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your musical journey, or your days at 'music school'.

You are not born with a voice. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. If you have the will to take on something new, you will find a way to do it. Take it from me. If I can, there's no reason you can't.
  • What are the little touches that make you a Superprof in music?

I am honest. I am authentic. I don't try to sell myself; I don't consider myself less of a teacher, but more a guide. I am ethically and morally driven to provide you with the best knowledge I possibly can and I am constantly working towards improving myself. I embrace what some may see as artistic flaws and work hand in hand with one's advantages to explore the unique artist in you, the student.
