About Nick
During my undergraduate degree, I volunteered with several university programmes which reached out to the community to provide tutors for students struggling with their history work.
I worked with individual students and with groups supporting with examination preparation, and coursework writing. I have acted as a teaching assistant, working with pupils who struggled particularly with spelling, grammar, and sentence structure.
I have also helped my friends on an ad hoc basis, reviewing and editing coursework.

My name is Nick. In 2017, I completed my MA in US Studies: History and Politics at UCL. Prior to that, I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Sheffield. I offer lessons in history and politics.
I can give lessons to anyone from Secondary School level to undergraduate level. If you need help writing coursework, are struggling with a particularly challenging concept, or need help devising a strategy for revision, I'm the tutor for you.
My approach depends entirely on the student and how they best learn. I firmly believe that there is no 'one size fits all' approach to the study of any subject. History is as much about knowledge as it is about technique and I can help students with either.
