About Aakarsh
I am currently a Master’s student in Data Science at the University of Western Australia with a strong academic background in Mathematics and analytical subjects. I have experience in peer tutoring, where I have helped students understand challenging concepts, prepare for exams, and improve their overall performance.
I am patient, approachable, and focused on creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I enjoy teaching because I find it rewarding to see students gain confidence and develop a clear understanding of topics they once found difficult.
My goal as a tutor is not only to help students achieve better results but also to build their confidence and independent problem-solving skills over time.

I offer structured and personalised tutoring sessions in Mathematics, Science, and basic English support for primary to high school students. My approach focuses on building a clear understanding of concepts rather than rote learning. I break down complex topics into simple steps and use examples to make learning easier and more engaging.
Each lesson is typically 60 minutes, where I first assess the student’s current understanding, then explain concepts, followed by practice questions and feedback. I also help with homework, assignments, and exam preparation.
As a Master’s student in Data Science at UWA with experience in peer tutoring, I understand how to adapt my teaching style to suit different learning speeds and needs. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and gradually build confidence in their abilities.
