About Ira

I hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry and have been teaching for the past 6 years across various academic levels. I’ve worked with students preparing for school boards, university-level exams, and competitive entrance tests, helping them improve both grades and subject interest. My teaching philosophy focuses on simplifying complex topics without compromising depth. I ensure that each student develops strong conceptual clarity and problem-solving skills. I take time to understand their strengths and weaknesses so I can tailor lessons accordingly, making chemistry both understandable and enjoyable. Outside of tutoring, I stay connected with the academic community and continue exploring new developments in the field. About the lesson

My chemistry lessons are structured to build both foundational knowledge and advanced understanding. I guide students through complex topics using step-by-step methods, real-world analogies, and visual tools. Each session is interactive and tailored to the learner’s level, whether you're in high school or pursuing university studies.

In particular, I focus on Organic Chemistry and Thermodynamics—two essential and often challenging branches of chemistry. Students learn to understand reaction mechanisms, functional group behavior, and the principles of heat, energy, and equilibrium. I also emphasize problem-solving strategies and application-based learning to make abstract topics more accessible and useful.

Each lesson includes guidance on assignments, test preparation, and project work. I help students analyze questions, structure answers effectively, and approach problems with confidence. With regular practice and clear explanations, my students often show marked improvement in academic performance and independent thinking.
