About Sandisiwe

As language practitioner and a seasoned IsiXhosa teacher, I understand that teaching and learning requires communication from both teacher and a learner. I am always willing to hear from a learner's perspective and making learning fun, yet very professional. I am very passional about teaching IsiXhosa as a language and sharing other insights from cultural background.

About the lesson

My approach to private tutoring is centered on personalized learning. I believe every student has a unique learning style, and my role is to tailor lessons to fit individual needs. Here’s Adaptive Learning: I assess each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and learning preferences at the start. Based on this assessment, I customize lesson plans that cater specifically to their needs.
Interactive Techniques: I incorporate a mix of visual aids, interactive activities, and real-life applications to make learning engaging and effective. This might include using multimedia resources, role-playing scenarios, or problem-solving exercises.
Growth Mindset: I emphasize the importance of a growth mindset, encouraging students to see challenges as opportunities for growth and to embrace mistakes as part of the learning process.
Goal-Oriented: We set clear, achievable goals for each lesson and track progress regularly. This helps students stay motivated and see tangible improvements.

IsiXhosa: Fluent, with a strong grasp of both formal and colloquial expressions.
