About Ivy
With 15+ years of teaching experience and more than 3760 students successfully trained, I have dedicated my professional journey to helping aspiring violinists achieve excellence through focused instruction and mentorship.
Many students have gone on to excel in orchestras, examinations, competitions, recitals, and advanced musical programs. Their accomplishments continue to inspire my work as an educator.
I believe music education should nurture discipline, confidence, creativity, and emotional growth. My mission is to help learners become accomplished musicians while developing a lifelong appreciation for artistic excellence.

My violin teaching approach combines structured technical development with inspiring artistic exploration. Students learn bow technique, posture, intonation, rhythm control, scales, sight reading, ear training, music theory, and repertoire studies through carefully planned lessons that encourage both precision and creativity.
Students actively engage in performance workshops, interpretation studies, technical drills, repertoire building, ensemble preparation, and confidence development activities. These experiences help learners become expressive musicians rather than simply technical performers.
Advanced learners focus on advanced repertoire, orchestral preparation, competition coaching, vibrato mastery, performance psychology, stage presence, and artistic interpretation. Lessons prepare students for both academic and professional musical opportunities.
