About Rory

My teaching methodology is centered around creating an inspiring and supportive environment where students feel motivated and confident to explore their musical potential. I combine motivation, patience, compassion, and creativity in my sessions to help students enjoy the process while making steady progress. Each lesson is carefully structured, balancing theory, technique, and practice to build a solid foundation in piano skills.

I believe in understanding each student’s unique learning pace and goals, adapting my approach to meet their needs and interests. Whether working on scales, sight-reading, or personal compositions, I guide students through challenges with patience and encourage them to express their creativity. Through positive reinforcement and a focus on small, achievable milestones, I help students gain confidence and joy in their playing.

Beyond piano, I am also available to teach related subjects like music theory and composition, ensuring a well-rounded musical education. My goal is for students to not only master techniques but to truly appreciate and connect with music, making each session a fulfilling experience.

About the lesson

I am a dedicated Piano tutor with 4 years of experience, specializing in guiding high school and college students on their musical journey. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching over 150 students, helping each one unlock their potential and deepen their love for music. My lessons focus on performance, theory, and composition, tailored to fit each student’s unique needs and goals.

Driven by a genuine passion for education, I am committed to creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment. I encourage my students to challenge themselves, build confidence, and explore their creativity. A significant milestone in my career has been seeing my students excel in recitals, college music programs, and personal compositions – achievements that highlight their growth and dedication.
