About Mira

I'm a guitar teacher with 12 years of experience, specializing in songwriting, composition, and artist development. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Guitar Emphasis, and I’m passionate about helping students find their own sound. Whether you're just starting or already performing, I tailor lessons to fit your creative goals. I love guiding aspiring singer-songwriters and independent musicians through the process of writing original music. From crafting lyrics and melodies to shaping arrangements and chord progressions, I help students bring their ideas to life. I focus on building personal style while strengthening core guitar skills. My lessons often include ear training, creative exercises, and tips for recording at home. I also support students in using music software and tools to produce and share their music. For those interested in performing, I offer coaching on stage presence and confidence-building. Every artist has a voice—my job is to help you express it. About the lesson

My guitar teaching approach is all about helping students grow in skill, confidence, and creativity. I teach students of all levels how to play with feeling, rhythm, and clear technique. Whether you're learning chords to play your favorite songs or diving deep into blues licks and fingerstyle patterns, I shape lessons around your goals and style.

I focus on building a strong foundation with proper hand positioning, strumming, and picking techniques. Along the way, I introduce music theory in simple ways that help you understand what you're playing—not just memorize it. I also encourage creativity through songwriting, improvisation, and experimenting with different sounds.

Students who love playing by ear or jamming with friends find my lessons especially helpful. I support those who want to play in relaxed settings as well as those aiming for stage-ready blues solos. We explore genres like acoustic, blues, rock, jazz, and even folk to give you flexibility and expression.

Lessons are interactive, supportive, and paced to your learning style. I also use tools like backing tracks, slow-down apps, and video recordings to track progress and boost motivation. My goal is to help you find your voice on the guitar and enjoy every step of the journey.
