About Evelyn

I am a dedicated French language mentor who believes language is more than words—it is access to new cultures, confidence, and opportunities. I want to teach you French because I have seen how speaking it opens doors academically, professionally, and personally. My passion is guiding students patiently from uncertainty to fluency, helping you think, express yourself, and connect naturally in French. I teach not just to help you pass exams, but to empower you to communicate boldly, understand the world better, and carry yourself with confidence in any French-speaking environment.

About the lesson

To my future students, my approach to private French tutoring is immersive, personalized, and focused on your success. I go beyond memorization and textbooks, guiding you to think, speak, and understand French naturally. Each lesson is carefully tailored to your pace, strengths, and goals, combining practical conversation, cultural insights, and proven techniques. I am committed to helping you build lasting confidence, express yourself fluently, and enjoy the learning journey, so that French becomes not just a language you study, but a skill you live and embrace with pride.

Evelyn has a strong French background. I got my very first French lesson from her way back in 1998 at Junior school as she persuaded me to learn French so she could practise with me. She taught so well even in a short period of time that I had the confidence to exchange short notes and communicate a little in French. She is honest, responsible and has good judgment. Her communication and people skills are excellent. If you think of a reliable French tutor, think of Evelyn.
