About Citra

As a native Indonesian speaker and a Master of Teaching graduate, I love sharing both the language and culture in a way that is clear, engaging, and practical. My lessons usually run for 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the student’s needs, and I adapt my teaching style to suit different learning goals—whether that’s building conversational skills, improving grammar, or preparing for schoolwork. I use interactive techniques such as role play, real-life examples, and step-by-step explanations to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. I have more than 5 years of experience supporting students in a range of subjects, and I bring that same patient and encouraging approach to Indonesian. My lessons are suitable for beginners through to advanced learners, with a focus on primary and middle school students, but I also welcome high school learners and anyone interested in learning the language. My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel confident to practice and proud of their progress.
