About Greta

I am a passionate Chess tutor with 7 years of experience teaching students from school to college level. I believe that Chess is more than a game—it builds focus, patience, and smart decision-making. My journey in education began with a deep love for strategy and learning, which I now share with every student I teach. Over the years, I’ve helped many learners grow from beginners into confident, skilled players. One of my proudest moments was coaching a student who won their first school-level tournament after just a few months of training. I use a friendly and structured approach, mixing fun challenges with clear lessons. My goal is to make every student enjoy learning and feel proud of their progress. Whether you're just starting or aiming for tournaments, I’m here to support your journey. Let's learn, grow, and play with purpose!

About the lesson

My teaching methodology in Chess is built on Accountability, Creativity, and Communication. I help students take responsibility for their learning by setting clear goals and tracking progress regularly. This builds discipline and focus—key skills for success in Chess and beyond. I also bring creativity into every lesson, using puzzles, real game examples, and fun exercises that make learning exciting and help students think outside the box.

Communication is at the heart of my teaching. I explain strategies in simple steps and encourage students to ask questions and share their ideas. I focus on opening principles, middle-game tactics, endgame techniques, and time management. My lessons are designed to improve both thinking skills and decision-making.

Along with Chess, I can support students in related areas like logic building, critical thinking, and game analysis. I create a friendly and motivating space where students feel confident to learn and grow. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, my goal is to help you enjoy the game and reach your full potential.
