About Marina

With 4 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in teaching Spanish to high school and college students. Over the years, I have had the privilege of helping around 150 students improve their language skills and gain confidence in speaking, writing, and understanding Spanish. My passion for teaching is driven by the belief that every student can succeed when provided with the right support and resources. My teaching philosophy is built on creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. I focus on understanding each student's unique learning style and tailor my lessons to meet their individual needs. Whether it's preparing for exams, improving vocabulary, or mastering grammar, I make learning Spanish engaging and relatable. One of my notable achievements is helping students pass their DELE exams and achieve fluency in conversational Spanish. I take pride in seeing my students grow and succeed, not only academically but also in their appreciation for the Spanish language and culture. I am dedicated to making every lesson both enjoyable and effective, ensuring students feel motivated to continue their learning journey.

My teaching approach for Spanish focuses on flexibility, understanding, positivity, and integrity, ensuring that each student has a personalized and supportive learning experience. I believe language learning should be engaging and rewarding, so I tailor lessons to suit each student’s needs, goals, and learning style. Whether you're a beginner learning basic vocabulary, preparing for DELE exams, or looking to improve your speaking and writing skills, I adapt my lessons to help you progress at your own pace.

Understanding is key in my methodology. I take the time to listen to my students, addressing their unique challenges and providing encouragement along the way. My positive approach fosters a safe space where students feel motivated and confident to practice and improve.

In addition to teaching Spanish, I also offer lessons in related areas such as phonetics, reading, writing, speaking, and vocabulary, all while maintaining high standards of integrity in every lesson. My goal is not only to help you learn Spanish but also to build a deep connection with the language and culture. With this approach, I aim to make language learning a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
