About Paige
I have over 4 years of experience teaching Spanish, with a Graduate Diploma in Spanish Language Teaching and Spanish Education. Teaching beginners is my passion, and I specialize in immersive, accelerated programs that help students make real progress quickly. I focus on building speaking confidence from day one. Through clear pronunciation drills, practical everyday phrases, and interactive speaking exercises, students gain the tools to communicate naturally. I also break down Spanish grammar into simple, usable patterns that are easy to remember and apply in real conversations. My lessons are engaging and tailored to each student’s pace, making learning both fun and effective. I integrate listening, reading, and writing exercises to complement speaking skills, ensuring a well-rounded approach. My teaching approach is built around helping students gain confidence and fluency in Spanish while making learning enjoyable and practical. I believe in combining solid grammar foundations with real-life communication skills so students can use Spanish naturally in different situations.
I focus on all key areas: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Each lesson is structured but flexible, allowing me to adapt to the student’s learning style and pace. I use listening practice and interactive speaking drills to strengthen comprehension and improve pronunciation. For reading, I select texts that build vocabulary while training students to understand context and meaning.
For those preparing for exams, I include test strategies, reading comprehension techniques, and timed response practice to build both accuracy and speed. I also create targeted exercises for DELE and other Spanish exams, helping students feel ready and confident on test day.
Beyond exams, I support students who want to use Spanish in professional or everyday settings. I help them develop communication skills that are clear, respectful, and adaptable to different environments. Whether it is for work, travel, or personal growth, I guide students in achieving their goals with practical fluency.
My lessons are supportive and encouraging, turning challenges into opportunities for growth. I believe language learning is not only about rules but also about culture, expression, and confidence. Every student I teach receives the tools to succeed and the motivation to keep improving.
