Nicole is a star! Her wealth of knowledge she has to give and her patience and understanding she has towards her students are what make her a great teacher. If you cannot grasp one aspect, she is more than welcome to teach you different way that fits your learning style. I learned so much from her, and I’m really going to miss getting help from her!

Nicole is an excellent osteologist and anthropologist; she has a deep understanding osteology and the myriad of considerations that influence bone identification (disease, cultural alteration, trauma, human variation, other taphonomic wear, etc.). Not only does she have this deep knowledge, but she can actually communicate it well to her students!! She has a unique ability to be able to change her teaching/tutoring style to the student she is helping, therefore increasing their learning experience. Moreover, she is a fair, considerate individual who both challenges your intellectual bounds on the subjects she teaches, while remembering to make sure you have a solid foundation for the future. In sum, anyone who Nicole helps will find that she is one of the best, kindest, and most knowledgeable teachers out there for osteology (zooarch, taphonomy, and other forensic anthropology subjects). I highly recommend her to any student wishing to learn these subjects.
