About Ivy
My teaching methodology for Piano is built on compassion, flexibility, communication, accountability, and positivity. My goal is to make learning the piano an enjoyable and rewarding experience while helping students build a strong foundation in performance, theory, and composition. I focus on clear communication, breaking down complex concepts into simple steps. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident to explore and grow. By holding students accountable in a kind and motivating way, I help them stay consistent in their progress. Through positivity and patience, I aim to inspire a lifelong love for music. Along with Piano, I am also happy to teach related subjects, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience for my students.
