About Soham

I'm Soham Goel
A communication coach and personality development mentor with 4+ years of experience working with students across schools, colleges, and startup communities.

Honestly, I got into this because I genuinely love watching people grow. There's something incredible about seeing someone walk into their first session barely able to hold eye contact, and then watch them command a room a few weeks later.
That shift, that's what keeps me going.
I've been deep in the world of competitive speaking myself. 40+ MUNs, Youth Parliaments, and Debate Championships.

I've represented India at Cambridge University's "I Can" Global Initiative, been a Campus Ambassador for debate events at IIT Delhi and DTU, and conducted workshops at IIT Patna and Newton School of Technology, Pune.
I also founded Orators Arena, a communication and debate club that's helped build a community of confident, expressive speakers.

So far I've had the privilege of training 200+ students and every single one has brought something new that's made me a better coach too.
I work with people on communication, public speaking, and soft skills but more than techniques, I focus on helping you find your own voice. Not a polished version of someone else's.

If that sounds like what you're looking for, I'd love to connect.

About the lesson

What We Work On
Every session is practical, personalized, and actually fun. Here's what I cover:
Public Speaking — We work on speaking confidently in front of any audience, whether it's a classroom, a stage, a debate floor, or an interview panel. No generic tips, just real practice.

Confidence & Mindset — A big part of communication is what's happening inside your head. We work on breaking stage fear, building self-esteem, and developing the kind of mindset that doesn't crumble under pressure.

Body Language & Voice — How you say something matters as much as what you say. We work on your tone, pace, gestures, and expressions so your presence matches your words.

Debate, GD & Anchoring — Hands-on practice through debates, group discussions, and anchoring exercises. Great for sharpening your clarity of thought, fluency, and ability to think on your feet.

Interview & Presentation Skills — From college admissions to corporate settings, we prep you for the moments that matter. First impressions, structure, delivery — all of it.

Personality & Soft Skills — Communication goes beyond speaking. We also touch on listening, leadership, emotional intelligence, and basic etiquette things that quietly make a huge difference.

Storytelling & Content — Whether it's a speech, an elevator pitch, or just telling a story that lands — we work on crafting content that actually connects with people.

Personalized Feedback — Every student gets individual attention. Weekly progress checks, honest feedback, and tasks tailored specifically to where you are and where you want to go.

I've been in corporate training for 11 years and I still wanted to sharpen my executive presence before a leadership role transition. Most coaches at this price point are surface level at best. Soham surprised me. He asked the right questions in the first session itself, understood what I actually needed, and didn't waste time on basics I'd already mastered. The work we did on vocal authority and managing room dynamics was particularly useful. Would recommend him without hesitation to working professionals, not just students.

Honestly didn't expect such a big difference in just a few sessions. I came to Soham because I had a college fest anchoring gig coming up and I was TERRIFIED. He didn't just give me tips, he actually made me practice in real time and pointed out things I never even noticed about myself (apparently I say "umm" like every 5 seconds lol). The anchoring went really well and a few people came up to me after asking if I do this professionally Still can't believe it. Would 100% recommend to anyone who's nervous about speaking in public.

My son, Arjun, was very shy before. He hated speaking in front of people. After a few months with Soham, he joined a debate competition by himself and became extroverted with confidence. We were shocked! Really happy we found Soham here, much appreciate his timely guidance and efforts.

My daughter used to fear speaking in front of even a small group. After just 8 sessions with Soham, she voluntarily signed up for her school's annual day presentation. That says it all. Highly recommend him to any parent looking for a genuine, patient — Priya Sharma, Mother of a 14-year-old

My kids grew up in Dubai and while they had a good education there, confidence in expressing themselves was always something we felt they lacked. That's where Soham made a real difference.
He didn't just teach them to speak , he made them genuinely enjoy it. The progress was gradual but very visible. What really stood out was when my elder son topped his school debate competition after about six months with Soham. More than the result, it was the way he carried himself on that stage that got me.
Both my kids are confident communicators today, and a big part of that is thanks to Soham's patience and the way he connects with his students.
Highly recommended.
