About Jonathan
Focusing on grammar rules is sometimes secondary to understanding the cultural rhythm of the language. My sessions utilize role play to make the process feel like a performance. We examine accent and intonation to ensure clarity.
Students practice writing skills through directed dialogue. Reading comprehension exercises are integrated into our routine. Idioms and expressions are introduced to add natural flair. Exam preparation for the DELF or DALF is handled with academic rigor.
Beginners start with everyday phrases to build momentum. Conversational fluency is truly a joy when the student finds their voice.

Completing a License in Lettres alongside a Master of Music from Schulich School of Music provided a unique linguistic foundation for my teaching. My work in Sherbrooke and at the Conservatoire de Montréal bridges the gap between music and language.
