About Dustin
Adult learners often arrive with specific career goals that require clear, precise communication. Last week, a student successfully navigated a high-pressure interview after we practised natural idioms and complex expressions.
With my background from the Royal College of Music, I apply the same discipline to grammar foundations and accent softening that I use in music. My work focuses on building your speaking confidence for those moments that matter most. I have helped 76 students improve their fluency, and I find that conversational practice remains the most effective way to see progress.

Individual needs determine the path we take because 1 student in 76 is never the same as another. A diagnostic level test before we start ensures our time is used efficiently. Since I have taught for 13 years, I recognise the exact moment a learner begins to grasp a difficult grammatical structure. We will refine your IELTS preparation through targeted speaking practice and detailed feedback on your pacing.
My approach relies on your unique history with the language rather than a set template. I incorporate idioms, expressions, and specific vocabulary to sharpen your professional presence during exams.
This method ensures that your progress remains steady and measurable over the weeks we work together. By examining your current strengths, I can identify the specific barriers to your success. Can we begin by looking at your current speaking samples today?
