About Michael

I am a 23 year old who has already achieved so many things:

> Master in Mechanical Engineering, studied at University of Liverpool for 4 years.

> Volunteer reserve Officer C in the RAF for two years.

> Started and ran the Student news and memes account in Liverpool (from 0k to 23k followers in just a few years).

> Competed in a global event called CanYouMakeIt sponsored by RedBull and represented TeamGB in May 2024.

> Led the SolarChiller project in 2022 and 2023, where we built an Off-grid Industrial Solar Powered Cold room for the storage of agricultural produce for the farming and fishing communities in Zanzibar, Tanzania. (Where I was interviewed on TV and conducted meetings with Government Officials and Business leaders)

> Was part of an NGO/Project in Bali, Indonesia where we designed and built a Pyrolysis machine that turned plastic waste into energy.

> Taught English and the Environment to local and tourist kids in Thailand.

> Volunteered In Lourdes every summer for 5 years, 2 weeks at a time in both a children's and adult hospitals for the disabled and needy.

> Speak two languages.

> I have set up 2 small businesses.

> Doing a Ski season 2024-25.

> I have created a video that won a competition that gave me a free Ski-festival ticket (Rise Festival at the Alps in France).

> In University I was Vice President and Social Secretary in different clubs.

> Travelled over 40 countries.

> Been on the Radio and have also been Head Boy during Sixth form for both the Sixth formers and younger school.

> Been a promoter to clubs and event over many years, getting paid and have been given free entry many times.

About the lesson

I mainly offer 1-2 hour sessions, but longer sessions can be arranged if needed.

Firstly, I will assess your best biological learning style—what comes most naturally to you and what helps you retain information best.

We will identify your strengths, the areas that need improvement and create a suitable plan for you. We'll cover theory using example questions and regularly test your understanding.

Most importantly, we'll have a good laugh regardless! The sessions will make you want to learn more, you'll enjoy them. They won’t be too serious to the point of being boring, but also not too relaxed where you don’t learn anything. You will.

I’ve achieved many things at a young age—competed in several competitions, travelled to various parts of the world, and experienced so much. I’m more than happy to not only be your tutor but also a true mentor in life, helping you learn from both my successes and failures. Help you with any decisions in between learning maths and physics.
