About Njenji

My name is Njenji, and I am a dedicated and passionate Math tutor with years of experience helping young learners master Arithmetic, Algebra, and Geometry. I specialize in working with primary school pupils (Class 4–6) following the Cameroon curriculum, especially those preparing for key exams like the First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) and the Government Common Entrance. I believe that every child can succeed in Math with the right guidance, encouragement, and teaching method. I bring patience, clarity, and creativity into every lesson, breaking down complex topics into simple steps. My approach is practical, interactive, and tailored to each learner’s pace and ability. As a professional, I take my role seriously—not just as a tutor, but as a mentor and motivator. I create a safe, supportive space where learners feel free to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. My greatest joy is seeing my pupils gain confidence, improve their results, and develop a real love for Math. About the lesson

As a passionate and experienced Maths tutor trained in the Cameroon Primary School Curriculum, I specialize in teaching Class 4 to Class 6 pupils who are preparing for official exams like the First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) and Government Common Entrance.

My Teaching Method:
I use a competence-based approach, focusing on real-life problem-solving and active learning. I teach Maths in a simple, step-by-step manner, ensuring that each child fully understands before moving to the next topic. I blend oral drills, interactive exercises, and local examples from everyday life (market shopping, local games, nature, etc.) to make Maths relevant and fun.

A Typical Lesson Plan Includes:
Revision of previous topics to build retention.

Introduction of a new topic using local context and visuals.

Guided examples with teacher and student solving together.

Practice exercises (stimulus-based and exam-style questions).

Feedback and correction with explanation of mistakes.

Homework or take-home drill for extra practice.
