About Mally

With more than 12 years of experience teaching Guitar to college students, I focus on a student-centred and creative approach. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s goals, skill level, and musical interests, making learning both effective and enjoyable.

I combine technique practice with improvisation, composition, and popular songs. Music theory is simplified and applied in practical ways so students can immediately use it while playing. Modern tools like backing tracks, recordings, and interactive exercises enhance learning and engagement.

I aim to help students build confidence, express themselves creatively, and achieve their musical goals. Over the past 12 years, I’ve guided students in mastering challenging pieces, performing confidently, and developing their unique musical style.

About the lesson

I teach guitar using a methodology focused on creativity, critical thinking, mentorship, and accountability. I encourage students to explore different musical styles, experiment with techniques, and create original music. This approach develops both technical skills and personal expression.

As a mentor, I guide students with patience and provide personalised feedback to build confidence and independence. Critical thinking is emphasised by teaching students to analyse songs, understand music theory in real situations, and solve challenges on their own.

Accountability ensures progress. Together, we set achievable goals, monitor growth, and celebrate milestones. Lessons are interactive, combining practice, exercises, and creative projects that make learning enjoyable.

I also teach music theory, improvisation, and composition, helping students gain a complete understanding of music. My goal is to nurture confident, creative, and independent musicians who enjoy learning and expressing themselves.
