Mirko is so patient, kind and encouraging. We do a mixture of techniques to make the lessons dynamic such as, using the grade books for technical skills and progression but also we practise current pop songs to keep things fun.

We met Mirko many years ago when my Son wanted to learn to play the guitar. I would hear Mirko strumming so beautifully whilst waiting for my son to join the lesson - that inspired me to take lessons too! Mirko has patiently guided me through my Guitar grades from 1-IV. We're currently working on Grade V. He is clearly a very accomplished and skilled guitarist but he also possesses a gentle manner and endless patience, which makes him a great teacher too.

My son has had a mix of classical and electric guitar lessons with Mirko for many years. He started at 5 years old and is now 17 years and he still enjoys his lessons and continues to learn a lot due to Mirko's high level of experience. I would recommened Mirko to all ages, including adults. He is incredibly patient and calm, he explains things clearly, he is well organised and lessons are enjoyable. Mirko has taught my son to play the guitar beautifully and I'm really happy to have found someone who could keep lessons engaging for so long to allow him to not just obtain excellent ABRSM grades but to also enable him to play the guitar so well and most importantly enjoy it.
