About Ulysse

Hi! I’m Ulysse, a 27-year-old French native, splitting my time between my hometown in the French Alps and exciting adventures across the globe. Let me bring you a unique and effective approach to language teaching. But, why me? During my travels, I’ve met countless people eager to master French, but most struggled to maintain their skills due to lack of real-world practice. That’s where I come in! My mission is to make your French journey enjoyable, natural, and truly immersive. Here’s why I can help you succeed: Real-World Experience: I’ve taught French to two young girls while living with a Mexican family as an au pair and supported migrants in refining their French for daily life. About the lesson

Here is a plan of what a typical lesson with me would look like:

Warm-Up (5-10 minutes):
Start with casual conversation to ease into speaking and build confidence, discussing your day, hobbies, or current events.

Targeted Practice (20-30 minutes):
Focus on a specific skill or theme, such as vocabulary, grammar, or pronunciation. This might involve:
- Role-playing real-life scenarios (ordering at a café, asking for directions).
- Breaking down grammar with relatable examples.
- Expanding your vocabulary with engaging topics tailored to your interests.

Interactive Exercises (15-20 minutes):
Practice through fun OR immersive activities:
- Solve practical challenges (e.g., planning a trip to Paris).
- Analyze short texts, videos, or songs to enhance comprehension.
