About Fred

Bonjour! I’m Fred, a part-time PhD student and passionate French tutor. I love sharing the language I grew up with and helping students discover the richness of French culture. Teaching allows me to combine my academic experience with practical, real-world communication, making lessons both effective and enjoyable. I have several years of tutoring experience and have worked with learners of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced speakers. My approach focuses on building confidence, encouraging active conversation, and tailoring each lesson to your personal goals. Whether you want to improve your speaking, prepare for exams, or simply enjoy learning French, I create a supportive, professional environment where you can progress at your own pace while truly enjoying the process.

My lessons focus on communication, practical vocabulary, and cultural context, so you not only speak French but understand it. I use a mix of techniques, including conversational practice, interactive exercises, and personalized guidance tailored to each student’s goals.
