About Ivy

I am a French tutor with more than 20 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 1580 students. My mission is to help learners become fluent French speakers while developing practical communication skills that support education, careers, travel opportunities, and personal growth.

I have worked with students, professionals, travelers, university learners, and examination candidates from diverse backgrounds. This experience enables me to create personalized lessons that support different learning goals and proficiency levels.

Many students have improved pronunciation, achieved examination success, strengthened workplace communication, increased conversational confidence, and developed long-term fluency through my guidance.

My goal is to help every learner achieve success in French while building confidence, communication ability, and cultural understanding that benefits them throughout life.

About the lesson

My French lessons focus on helping students become confident communicators through practical interaction, structured language development, and real-world application. Lessons cover speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation improvement, grammar mastery, vocabulary expansion, cultural awareness, and communication confidence.

Students participate in conversation workshops, listening exercises, pronunciation coaching, grammar development sessions, vocabulary-building activities, reading discussions, and writing projects. These activities strengthen fluency while improving communication accuracy and confidence.

Advanced learners focus on business French, academic communication, workplace language skills, presentation techniques, advanced grammar structures, and conversational fluency. Students learn how to communicate naturally and effectively in educational, professional, and social environments.

Authentic French resources including interviews, podcasts, articles, documentaries, dialogues, and cultural materials are incorporated into lessons to strengthen comprehension and expose learners to natural language usage.
