About Isla

With 4 years of teaching experience, I am a dedicated English tutor passionate about helping students from school to college achieve their language goals. My journey in education has been incredibly fulfilling, as I’ve had the privilege of guiding students to improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. I focus on making learning practical, enjoyable, and relevant to real-life situations. Over the years, I’ve helped students excel in exams, build confidence in communication, and develop a deep appreciation for the English language. Each milestone in my career has been a reminder of why I love teaching—seeing my students succeed and grow. I believe every student has unique potential, and I am committed to nurturing that with patience, encouragement, and support. My goal is to help students not only master English but also build skills that will serve them for a lifetime.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for English is built on real-life examples and case studies to make learning practical and relatable. I believe in using everyday situations to help students understand how English can be used in the real world. Accountability is key in my approach, and I work closely with each student to set clear goals, track progress, and encourage responsibility for their learning. I foster a collaborative environment, where students feel comfortable sharing ideas and asking questions. Patience is at the heart of my teaching, ensuring that every student feels supported as they progress at their own pace. Beyond English, I also teach related subjects like writing, reading, and vocabulary, integrating these areas to help students build a strong foundation in the language. My aim is to make learning both enjoyable and effective, preparing students for success in their academic and personal lives.
