About Viya
Hello! I am an experienced Economics tutor with over 3 years of teaching college students. My goal is to make Economics interesting and accessible. I use a student-centered approach, encouraging active participation and discussions in every lesson.
I believe in using real-world examples and current events to connect theoretical concepts to everyday life. This helps students see the relevance of Economics in their own experiences. My teaching approach for Economics is built on Cultural Sensitivity, Problem-Solving, and Open-Mindedness. I believe that understanding different cultures and perspectives enriches our study of Economics, as economic systems vary greatly around the world. I encourage students to share their views and experiences, creating a classroom atmosphere where everyone feels valued.
Problem-solving is at the heart of my lessons. I present real-world scenarios and case studies that challenge students to apply economic theories to practical situations. This helps them develop critical thinking skills and understand the relevance of Economics in everyday life.
I also maintain an open-minded approach, welcoming questions and discussions. I adapt my teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student, whether they are in school, college, or working professionals looking to expand their knowledge.
