About Anshul

Hey there, I am Anshul!

I am a software developer at Microsoft and an IIT Bombay grad. Over the years, I've interned with different companies, freelanced on projects, and picked up a lot of hands-on experience along the way.

Teaching is something I’m genuinely excited about. My style is pretty straightforward: I always look for the real-world reason behind what we’re learning. If it solves a problem, great — let’s dig in. If not, I don’t waste time on it. I also like to think from a developer’s perspective: if someone built this, what problem were they solving? Once you get that, you can figure out all the different ways to use it yourself.

I have taken workshops, study sessions, webinars, podcasts, private tutoring sessions, and more. So, you can rest assured, I know what I am doing.

About the lesson

I offer both one-on-one sessions and group classes, so you can choose the format that works best for you. My courses cover C, C++ and Python at all levels — from the basics to advanced concepts.

What makes my classes unique is that they’re open to all age groups. Whether you’re a school kid just starting out, a college student looking for tuition support, or a working professional aiming to sharpen your industry skills, you’ll find my teaching style adaptable to your needs.

Instead of spending too much time on abstract theory, I focus on coding real-life applications. The goal is always to make you capable of applying your skills in practical, industry-relevant ways. For students who need curriculum-specific help, I take extra sessions to cover exactly what’s required.

I also run crash courses — perfect if you want to quickly grasp the fundamentals of a language in just a week or two.

Perfect! I appreciate that Anshul is methodical. As an eperienced EM transitioning into DS/AI, I can't recommend him enough. His curriculum completely skips the dry theory, using great storytelling and real-world industry examples that make complex topics make sense instantly. On top of that, he is incredibly organized with his calendars and followup notes, and he somehow remembers exactly where we left off each week despite the time gaps between classes. While I haven't reached the hands-on projects yet—like agentic forward deployment engineering—I’ve already built a great deal of confidence just by retaining the core concepts and mastering the industry terminology. I'm stoked for what's to come next and glad that superprof allows contact with such talented individuals!

With an existing basic understanding of the languages , he trusted me enough to revise through the concepts on my own and have the doubts cleared during classes, and parallelly teaching concepts on Memory , Pointers, OOPs, etc to point out a few to help understand better as and when I reach those areas .

Your son has strong understanding of basic C and C++ terminology and concepts. He can solve beginner level problems that are asked in INOI as of today. He has a strong grasp of core concepts which are required to build into the complex concepts. From INOI syllabus point of view, I would say he has almost completed 15% of the syllabus.

I have looked into the past year INOI problems from the link you shared with me previously. Most of the problem lies in the intermediate range, and some problems goes upto advanced level. I expected the problems to be quite simpler considering the grade of the students, but this olympiad is quite advanced, and I dont feel 1 month is sufficient time to actually become comfortable with such advanced problems.

Your son doesn't have understanding about the data structures which are the foundation for attempting such questions in a competitive exam. So before even starting with the topics you have asked me to teach, I need to teach the data structures which are actually required to implement those concepts.

After which, to understand the concepts and to actually understand where to apply which concept, he needs to have idea about algorithm complexities and how to take hints from the question to understand which category of algorithms they are requesting.

Once he is upto this point, then I can begin to explain the algorithmic topics like greedy, dynamic programming, game theory, back tracking, etc.
