About Hyram

I'm an accounting and audit professional with a Master's degree in Accounting, Control and Audit and over 6 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial control, internal audit, and tax compliance. I'm currently pursuing the Canadian CPA designation and actively building my expertise in Canadian accounting software, including QuickBooks Online and Payroll.

- Bookkeeping fundamentals (journal entries, ledgers, trial balance)
- Financial statements (balance sheet, income statement)
- Bank reconciliation
- Accounts payable & receivable

- Introduction to QuickBooks Online

Lessons are tailored to your pace and goals, whether you're a complete beginner or brushing up before an exam or a new job. Classes are available in French and English, online via video call.

About the lesson

My lessons are practical and hands-on, built around real accounting scenarios rather than abstract theory. Each session is tailored to your current level and specific goals — whether you're studying for an exam, starting a new job, or managing your own small business finances.
A typical lesson might include:
Walking through a real journal entry or reconciliation step-by-step
Practicing directly in QuickBooks Online with sample data
Reviewing and correcting a mock set of financial statements
Working through Excel formulas and dashboards used in daily bookkeeping tasks
I adapt the pace and depth to the student: beginners get clear, simple explanations with lots of repetition on the fundamentals, while more advanced students can move quickly into applied exercises and problem-solving. Homework and practice exercises are given between sessions to reinforce what's covered.
Lessons are available in French or English, delivered online via video call, with flexible scheduling to fit around work or school.
