About Jake
I'm Jake, a seasoned Chinese linguist with over 12 years of experience, including advanced training from a military language school. I've traveled to Taiwan numerous times for immersive language courses and have honed my skills in Chinese grammar, literature, translating, and interpreting. I have consistently achieved advanced scores on military language tests, reflecting my deep understanding of the language.
My virtual lessons are designed to be relaxed yet challenging, focusing on pronunciation, grammar, and immersive experiences. As a non-native speaker who has mastered Chinese, I understand the specific challenges English speakers face and can offer targeted strategies to overcome them. Whether you're a beginner, an advanced learner, or someone looking to refine your skills, I tailor my interactive lessons to your needs, helping you develop a true love for Chinese. Let's embark on this language journey together!
