About Mitali

About the lesson

I’m a passionate Mathematics tutor with over 8 years of experience and a BSc in Statistics and Mathematics. My specialty lies in making foundational topics—like set theory, logic, and formal proofs—accessible and exciting for advanced high school and early university students. I believe that understanding the language of mathematics begins with clarity in its foundations.

I take pride in breaking down abstract concepts such as cardinality, axiomatic systems, and equivalence relations using vivid analogies and real-world parallels. Whether it’s helping a student grasp the difference between countable and uncountable sets or guiding them through the steps of a rigorous proof, my goal is always deep comprehension.

My approach balances structure with flexibility. I tailor lessons to fit each learner’s pace while nurturing a curiosity for the 'why' behind the math. Students aiming for degrees in pure mathematics, logic, or theoretical computer science have found my sessions particularly useful.
