About the lesson

I am a passionate Maths tutor with over 10 years of experience and an MSc in Mathematical Modelling. Mathematics has always fascinated me, especially its power to explain patterns in the social world. My focus lies in social sciences, where I explore complex systems using network theory and agent-based modelling. I study how social structures influence human behaviour, the spread of information and disease, and the emergence of collective patterns. These tools allow me to uncover hidden dynamics in society. I love translating these insights into tangible lessons for my students. My teaching emphasises not just formulas, but understanding the “why” behind them. I guide students in applying quantitative methods to real-world human systems. Together, we explore simulations, models, and case studies to make abstract concepts concrete. My goal is to help students think critically and connect mathematics to the world around them. I encourage curiosity, creativity, and analytical thinking in every session.
