Maths is full of surprises, and in my lessons, we explore it like a playground of ideas. I love turning logic puzzles and game theory into exciting challenges that spark curiosity. We’ll dive into recreational mathematics, spotting patterns, tricks, and clever shortcuts that make learning feel like play. Everyday life is full of maths, and I’ll show you how to discover it in surprising places. My approach is nurturing and personalised, so every student can explore at their own pace. We tackle problems together, celebrate every small victory, and turn mistakes into learning moments. I focus on helping students build confidence and see the joy behind every calculation. Lessons are hands-on, fun, and full of ‘aha!’ moments that make abstract ideas tangible. By the end, you’ll not only understand the maths but also enjoy it deeply. I aim to make learning maths an adventure, where curiosity leads the way. Each session is designed to help you excel while having fun.

About the lesson

I’m a Maths tutor with over 6 years of experience and a BSc in Financial Mathematics. I specialise in helping students explore the practical applications of mathematics in civil engineering and architecture. My lessons focus on connecting abstract concepts to real-world construction projects. We work on structural analysis, understanding how forces distribute across beams and supports. I guide students through load distribution and stress calculations, making complex problems approachable. Geometric modelling is a key part of my teaching, helping learners visualise designs before they’re built. I also introduce optimisation techniques to create efficient, safe, and innovative structures. My goal is to show how mathematics shapes the world around us. I use examples from actual building projects to make abstract principles tangible. Each session is tailored to the student’s level, ensuring concepts are both clear and engaging. I’m passionate about fostering confidence and problem-solving skills. Together, we’ll build strong mathematical foundations for creative and robust architectural designs. Learning maths should empower, not intimidate, and I’m here to make that happen.
