About Leigh

For the past 7 years, I have been helping High School and College students learn Spanish with confidence and enthusiasm. My goal as a tutor is not only to improve grades but also to help students enjoy learning a new language. I believe that every learner is unique, which is why I never use the same teaching method for everyone. Instead, I take time to understand each student's strengths, learning style, and personal goals before creating a lesson plan that fits their needs.

My lessons include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, writing, and conversation practice. I explain every topic in clear and simple English so students never feel confused or overwhelmed. I use practical examples, interactive activities, role-playing exercises, and real-life conversations to make every lesson engaging and meaningful. This approach helps students remember concepts more easily and use Spanish naturally in different situations.

One of my unique skills is making difficult grammar rules easy to understand through simple explanations and step-by-step practice. I also encourage students to ask questions freely because I believe curiosity leads to better learning. I regularly monitor progress, provide detailed feedback, and adjust my lessons whenever necessary so students continue improving at a comfortable pace.

I create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate without fear of making mistakes. Along with language skills, I introduce students to Spanish-speaking cultures, traditions, and everyday expressions, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the language. My commitment to personalized learning allows every student to grow with confidence and achieve lasting success in Spanish.

About the lesson

My Spanish teaching methodology is based on motivation, communication, creativity, and strong time management to create a productive and enjoyable learning experience. I motivate students by providing encouragement, understanding their goals, and celebrating progress to build confidence and maintain interest.

Communication is emphasized through speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises that allow students to use Spanish practically. Creativity is a key part of my approach; I use storytelling, role-plays, games, and visual exercises to make lessons fun, engaging, and memorable.

Time management ensures that lessons cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation practice efficiently while keeping students relaxed and focused. I also guide students on how to manage their own study and practice time for faster improvement.

In addition to Spanish, I can teach related subjects like grammar basics, pronunciation, and language learning strategies to support overall learning.

My goal is to help students learn Spanish in a structured, practical, and enjoyable way while building confidence and fluency step by step.
