About Miguel
I am an experienced mariachi musician with years of experience performing and studying traditional Mexican music. I specialize in mariachi guitar, rhythm, accompaniment, and singing, and I have experience helping other musicians learn mariachi armonía. As an active performer, I can teach not only the technical side of the music, but also the practical skills needed to play confidently with other musicians. I enjoy working with beginners and helping students build their skills at their own pace while developing a genuine appreciation for mariachi music and its traditions.

My lessons focus on the fundamentals of mariachi guitar and singing while helping each student develop confidence as a musician. Students can learn traditional mariachi rhythms, chord progressions, strumming techniques, repertoire, vocal technique, and how to sing while accompanying themselves on guitar.
Lessons are personalized to each student’s experience and goals, whether you are completely new to mariachi or already have some musical experience. My goal is not only to teach songs, but to help students understand the style, rhythm, and musical traditions that make mariachi unique.
