About Shuohan
I’m an undergraduate student at the University of Southern California studying Arts and Design. Originally, I’m from Xi’an, China—a historically rich city best known for the Terracotta Army.
I have over two years of experience in language tutoring, where I supported students in Chinese language courses at Wesleyan University. Through this experience, I developed strong skills in helping students improve their pronunciation, vocabulary, and writing, while making lessons engaging and approachable.
As both an international student and a tutor, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and aim to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students can build confidence and communicate naturally in Mandarin.

My teaching approach is interactive, structured, and personalized to each student’s goals.
