About Jing
I come from a hidden mega city in China, Chicago-along-Yangzi-river some call it.
I left home for Sweden for college right after high school, there starts my cross-cultural journey.
I taught English on 1-1 basis since 18.
During college I taught English to international women in Sweden for about half a year.
I worked as a professional translator and interpreter between Mandarin and English from 2014 to 2020.
To enhance my ability to teach, I have earned a L3 in teaching award in summer 2021.
As of now I am regularly meeting students via Zoom to teach and share my passion of languages.
When you interact with me, you will for sure see and experience my cross-culturalness, my cultural sensitivity and my deep understanding of both worlds. It is my passion to use languages (including English and Mandarin) to communicate and build understanding, and I am excited that you would like to do the same!
