Hi, I’m Faith—a dedicated tutor with a strong academic background in both math and art. I graduated with top marks, including a 113/100 in College Algebra, and I’ve taught math intervention courses where I used music to make concepts like multiplication easier and more memorable for students. My unique blend of creativity and structure helps students feel supported, engaged, and empowered to succeed. In addition to tutoring, I’m a working audio engineer, songwriter, and recording artist. My Teaching Approach As a tutor, I focus on making math accessible, creative, and confidence-building. I adapt each lesson to fit the learning style of my students—whether they are visual, auditory, or hands-on learners. My background in both math and art allows me to approach problem-solving from unique angles, and I often incorporate music and rhythm into lessons to help students retain information in fun and meaningful ways. A Typical Lesson A typical session with me starts with a quick check-in and warm-up to assess where the student is. We then focus on the core topic, using examples, interactive activities, and music-based strategies if needed. I end each session with a review, reflection, and a short practice activity to reinforce understanding. Whether it’s multiplication through number songs or breaking down algebraic expressions with visual aids, every lesson is engaging and student-centered.
