About Karthik Vinay Kumar

AI became real for me when I moved beyond theory and started building systems that actually work—models that learn from data, neural networks that improve through training, and GenAI workflows that can summarize, reason, and answer questions with the right structure.

I’m a Master’s graduate in Business Analytics & AI and a startup founder, and my focus is on practical, engineering-friendly AI. In my sessions, we study how machine learning methods work, how deep learning models are trained, and what’s happening inside neural networks - while also connecting it to implementation using Python. We also cover modern GenAI concepts like LLM behavior, prompt patterns, and retrieval-based approaches (RAG), so learners understand how to build reliable GenAI workflows.

This is ideal if you want a strong foundation plus the ability to implement, evaluate, and explain AI models confidently.

About the lesson

• ML foundations: supervised/unsupervised learning, bias-variance, metrics, validation
• Core models: regression, classification, trees/ensembles, clustering (concept + practice)
• Deep Learning: training pipeline, loss functions, optimizers, regularization, dropout, batch norm
• Neural Networks: forward/backprop intuition, activation functions, architecture choices
• Practical workflows: data prep, feature handling, pipelines, experimentation
• GenAI: prompt design patterns, LLM behavior, hallucinations, evaluation basics
• RAG basics: chunking, embeddings, vector search, retrieval quality
