About Michael
"The scratching of a pencil against a notepad often precedes the best hooks I have written in 4 years of teaching. Making music is my primary pursuit, and I find joy in the moment an idea becomes a finished song. I hold a Bachelor of Music from the Australian Institute of Music.
My approach is hands-on and focused on practical results. I specialize in imagery and detail in lyrics.
Co-writing and collaboration are central to my method. Title and concept development help guide my students.
I teach chord progressions and how to write to a brief. Editing and rewriting are the final steps I emphasize. You will walk away ready to turn your spark into a record."

We analyze current trends to keep your sound fresh and relevant. The goal is to finish songs that you are genuinely proud to release. I provide the tools to navigate the creative process from start to finish. We can look at your current projects whenever you are ready to start."
