About Ali
I am a graduate of the LSE (MSc Economic History, 2001). Since then I have been working in the education sector with vast amount of experience in private schools, including Box Hill (Surrey), Ealing Independent College (London) and Oak House (Barcelona).
I am also an experienced private tutor of Economics and Business Studies with over 19 years of experience.
With my experience I can quickly see the strengths and weaknesses of my students and then formulate a strategy to achieve the highest grade possible (usually in a short space of time). A large majority of my students have achieved grades which were at least 2 grade points above their starting point (eg from grade 4 to 6 for IB or from grade C to A/A* for A-levels).
I pride myself in the passion I bring to the table while building a rapport with student. This creates a successful partnership between the student and the tutor.
