About Jenny
My name is Jenny and I have been tutoring students aged 4 to 18 for over a decade now.
In particular, I love to help children build an appreciation for words, language and writing. Some of my proudest moments have been watching kids who 'hate English!" transform into budding poets and writers! I aim to encourage children to build their resilience and capacity to meet learning challenges and subsequently witness the joy this brings to students and their families.
I set up my own tuition agency, Kamakala Kids House, in 2021 and currently lead a team of approximately ten tutors to deliver lessons for KS1-KS3 students across London.
In my spare time, I enjoy developing my yoga and creative writing practice, going for long walks in nature, looking after my pet tortoise and cooking new recipes!

We typically teach one hour lesson for children aged 4 to 13 at their home, aiming to create a nurturing and joyful environment for our students.
We aim to ensure that they are confident with curriculum material, embedding key concepts and techniques before moving onto exam practice questions, where appropriate.
We want students to feel comfortable and confident contributing in lesson time and thereby gain a good understanding of their own strengths and weaknesses.
